MT UCS

When a mold base is created MOLDTOOLS3D-UCS will be generated at the insertion point.

DO NOT edit MOLDTOOLS3D-UCS name or reposition it from the insertion point.

Mold Objects not Generated by MT

Mold objects, like cores and cavities for example, that have not been generated by MT app must be registered into the mold database

to be recognized by MT commands.

First, if they are not, they must be converted into AutoCAD® 3D Solids and then integrated into the mold database by using the BOM

Edit Component command.

MT_DWG Folder

This folder contains DWG files that can be used to practice and get familiar with MT functions.

The part, with the core and cavities, represented on those DWG has not any particular use and it has been only created for command

practice and demonstration purposes.

MT_MBS Folder

The configuration MBD files provided can be used for command practice with the DWGs in the MT_DWG folder.

MT MBD Mold Base Configuration Files Names

File names for MBD configurations are proposed by the program at saving.

Those names are based on the supplier reference and dimensions for library mold bases and dimensions and plates number for

custom ones.

The user can accept those names or save them following any other criteria and create any other folders to arrange the files.
